The Ecto-1 project is more than a car build; it is a meticulous preservation of cinematic history. Our journey began in July 2025  with a rare 1959 Cadillac being found in Texas, USA.

Due diligence was carried out along with several phonecalls, video chats and inspections but then the day came when the journey to the UK began.  It took several weeks and a lot of planning to get that car to the port, ready for it's transportation to Southampton docks.  It arrived at our garage on January 4th 2026.

From Southampton to Essex on the bacck of a 7.5 tonne recovery vehicle - an exciting journey for some, but we were waiting with bated breath.

Now the real fun begins - restoring a ghost-hunting legend just the way we want it, with a few tweaks to the original build.
